Dean became interested in car repair as a teen, when his father began teaching him the inner workings of the family’s automobile. For 26 years now, he’s been working professionally on cars: Any car-related question you can throw at him will reveal the depth of his knowledge (go ahead and try to stump him!). He holds ASE Master Tech certification as well as Advanced Engine, Undercar, and Service Writer specialties. Dean’s all-time favorite car is the 1966 Pontiac GTO – yellow exterior with black interior – that he owned in 1988. Sadly, the GTO met its untimely demise in 1991 when Dean’s ex-wife was involved in an accident and the car was tragically destroyed.
Dean likes to spend his free time shooting pool and spending time with his kids. His dinner of choice? Steak, of course. His favorite vacation spot in all the world is Hawaii: been there, loved it! In fact, if he wins the lottery, that’s exactly where you’ll find him—admittedly, a long way to go for car repair. If he has the time to sit down and watch a movie, one of Dean’s favorites is Raising Arizona – a cult classic.
Dean’s motto: Treat people as you want to be treated.
